Our history

Our parents created their patronymic signature in 1961, settling in Vougeot ten years later. We – their children – created Domaine de la Vougeraie 40 years on by combining the estates’ vineyards. Jean-Charles embodies the Californian influence with vineyards in Napa and Sonoma, and has created a unique range of sparkling wines and spirits at La Maison.

Standing proud at the heart of Vougeot, between the Côte d’Or and its Grand Crus, this winemaker’s home reveals our history. This is the only place where you can discover, together under one roof, our Jean-Claude Boisset, Domaine de la Vougeraie and JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset wines. Precious bottles that you can enjoy in the comfort of this uncommon setting.

‘We called this “La Maison” because we wanted to keep things simple. Burgundy stands for simplicity and authenticity. We decided that we would create a rather original, velvety, silky setting for our wines boasting this structure.’ Nathalie Boisset
